Home studio: Excel Dance Centre

Addison joined YDI in 2023, at the start of season 11. She began dancing at the age of three, her first dance experience was through the YMCA, taking ballet, gym, and tap. She expanded her dance knowledge by going to many different studios before landing at her current home studio, Excel Dance Centre. Throughout her almost 15 years of dancing, she has trained in many styles including ballet, pointe, hip hop, tap, jazz, modern, acro, liturgical, lyrical, and contemporary. She has enjoyed performing with her studio and traveling to many big events such as dancing at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Nashville, and more. Currently, she is on Company, YTAP, a part of the NSHDA program, and on pre-professional teams such as XLR8, and XPressions, at Excel Dance Centre. These programs have allowed her to perform pieces by many choreographers, including Kelsey Pasich, Kate Meyers, Angel Sutton, Seyong Kim, Kaitlyn Pollock, Liz Schmidt, Micheal Kelly, Shelby Bensinger, and Alli Tucker. She attended the MPulse Institute this summer at the University of Michigan working with both Tony Fraizer and Robin Wilson, and expanded her knowledge by learning African styles and Brazillian styles. She is entering her second year with the YDI Company and is very excited to continue her love and passion for dance and performing.
