Home studio:  Excel Dance Centre

Carly Messenger started dancing at Excel Dance Centre at the age of three, starting with ballet and expanding to tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, pointe, and lyrical. She has been a part of Excel’s company for seven years and a part of Excel’s pre-professional company Xpressions for four years. She has participated in three of Excel’s Nutcrackers in roles in multiple styles, such as tap, ballet, and pointe. She is a part of The National Honors Society of Dance, which includes thirty hours of service over the year and assisting a weekly dance class at Excel. Carly has worked with many artists, including Jessie Hoisington, Shelby Bensinger, Kate Meyers, and Kelsey Paschich. She is excited to start her first-ever season with Young Dancers Initiative!
